Neil Wardley

Neil Wardley currently serves as the Head of Market Intelligence and Data Products at the Climate Bonds Initiative, where the focus is on mobilizing global capital for climate action. Wardley has extensive experience in the financial sector, having worked as a Sales Consultant at Index Research Consulting and as Managing Director at Evalueserve, overseeing sales and business development. Previous roles include Director of Product Management at IHS Markit, Director at BNP Paribas, and significant positions at Lehman Brothers that established a strong presence in the commodity index space. Wardley began a career in software engineering as a Vice President at Prudential Securities. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Remote Sensing from The University of Sheffield and a B.Sc. in Environmental Science from the University of Portsmouth.
