Remmy Wahanze

Remmy Wahanze is the Co-founder and Executive Director of the Center for AI Ethics and Governance in Africa. Remmy is also a Summer Trainee at Climate Change AI and a Research Analyst - Finance at JEPA Africa. Additionally, Remmy holds the role of Country Treasurer - Uganda at the Federation of African Law Students and is an Associate at SORKI Initiative. Remmy is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and a Member of the Youth SG & Uganda Chapter at the Internet Society. With a background in law and a strong focus on AI ethics and governance, Remmy is actively involved in various research fellow, trainee, and educational endeavors related to AI, finance, law, and digital policy.
