Remote Sensing Specialist at Climate Friendly

Marcio DaSilva is a Remote Sensing Specialist at Climate Friendly since June 2023, focusing on applying machine learning to Earth observation. Previously, Marcio served as a tutor at Flinders University from March 2019 to December 2022, covering topics in Airborne Remote Sensing, GIS, and Remote Sensing for various disciplines. Marcio has also worked as a Field GIS Specialist at Consulting Company USA from September 2014 to December 2015 and as a Research Assistant at the University of North Texas and University Federal Fluminense from June 2013 to July 2014, contributing to a National Science Foundation grant on nitrogen cycling influenced by urbanization in southeastern Brazil. Marcio holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Remote Sensing and Coastal Geomorphology from Flinders University, alongside a Master's in Geospatial Information Science and a Bachelor's in Geography from the University of North Texas.
