Gilles Cochevelou

Gilles Cochevelou has extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as Senior Advisor to the TotalEnergies OneTech President, where responsibilities include advising on science and technology matters. Cochevelou has held various senior positions at TotalEnergies since 2001, including Vice President of Group R&D Programs, overseeing research in carbon capture, synthetic fuels, and artificial intelligence applications. Previous roles include Chief Digital Officer, Vice President of Learning and Education, and Vice President of Renewables, managing projects in wind and solar energy. Prior to joining TotalEnergies, Cochevelou worked at Total and DCNS in strategic, operational, and technological capacities. Cochevelou holds multiple degrees, including a Master of Science in Ocean Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and has served on the Board of Directors for OGCI Climate Investments since 2022.
