Mahdi Aladel

Mahdi Aladel possesses extensive experience in the oil and gas sector, currently serving as CEO of Aramco Ventures since August 2020 and as a member of the Board of Directors for OGCI Climate Investments since November 2022. Previous roles include key leadership positions at Saudi Aramco and its affiliates, such as Base Oils and Finished Lubricants Director and member of the Board of Directors at Saudi Aramco Base Oil Company-Luberef. Aladel has a strong background in strategy, business development, and operations, demonstrated through various management positions at Motiva Enterprises LLC and Saudi Refining Inc. Aladel holds multiple degrees, including an MS in Chemical Engineering from Princeton University, and has completed advanced management programs at INSEAD and Harvard Business School.
