Matthew Harwood

Matthew Harwood has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Matthew is currently the Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) at OGCI Climate Investments, where they previously served as the Head of Strategy. Matthew has also held positions as a Non-Executive Director at Econic Technologies Ltd and NERC: Natural Environment Research Council. At McDermott International, Ltd, they served as the SVP Strategy, Sustainability, and Risk, as well as the GVP Strategy and Sustainability. Matthew also served as a Non-Executive Director at NET Power, LLC. Prior to these roles, they worked as an Associate at E4tech and Eden McCallum. Matthew was the Group Strategy Director and Corporate Development Officer at Johnson Matthey and Chairman at Seven Energy International. Matthew's earlier work experience includes being the Group Head of Strategy at Petrofac.

Matthew Harwood has a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Atmospheric Chemistry and Climatology from the University of Cambridge. Matthew also has a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the University of Oxford. Additionally, they completed a postdoctoral program in Atmospheric Sciences and Meteorology at the University of Colorado Boulder.
