Thomas Chrometzka is an experienced professional in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as an Advisor at the Climate Leadership Initiative since February 2024, where the focus is on guiding philanthropists towards impactful climate solutions. Previously, Thomas was the Chief Strategy Officer at Enapter from September 2018 to February 2023, contributing to advancements in energy production through innovative electrolyser technology. As a Co-Founder and Director of SolarLux Ltd. from July 2017 to April 2021, Thomas played a key role in pioneering blockchain-based rewards for solar power producers. Thomas also held positions as Director of Energy at giz│Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH in Thailand and Head of International Affairs at the German Solar Industry Association. Early career experience includes serving as an International Affairs Officer at the European Renewable Energy Centres Agency EUREC. Thomas holds degrees from the University of Münster and Macquarie University.
