Phil Aroneanu

Phil Aroneanu is an experienced professional specializing in partnership and strategy within the climate action sector. Currently serving as the Chief Partnership and Strategy Officer at Climate United since October 2024, Phil previously worked as a Strategic Advisor for the U.S. Department of Energy's Solar Energy Technologies Office from April 2023 to September 2024. Prior to this, Phil was the Chief Strategy Officer at Dayenu: A Jewish Call to Climate Action, contributing to the organization's launch and growth from February 2020 to April 2023. Additional experience includes serving as the Digital Organizing Strategy Director at ACLU from November 2017 to February 2020, where innovative digital and offline campaigns were developed, and as Senior Campaigns Director at Purpose, where Phil played a key role in the People's Climate Movement. Phil Aroneanu holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Anthropology from Middlebury College and a Master's degree in Public Administration from NYU's Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service.
