Climate Youth Japan (CYJ) is the youth environmental NGO founded in the spring of 2010 by Japanese youth who participated in the 15th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC COP15). 

With the vision of "achieving an equitable and sustainable society through youth-led solutions to climate change issues," we aim to achieve the 1.5°C target of the Paris Agreement and to involve youth in the decision-making process for tackling climate change.

Currently, we have approximately 50 members from all over Japan. We are mainly active in online meetings and arrange an in-person camp several times a year.
