Neil van Niekerk

Neil van Niekerk serves as the Climate Change Innovation Manager at Blue Clarity since November 2023. In addition, Neil leads Project 112.2 on submersible technology to advance reef science for the UN Ocean Decade, a role held since September 2022. As Executive Director of 2DegreesC since April 2020, Neil also contributes as a Climatebase Fellow since February 2022. Neil is a founding partner at ExplorEiS, active since September 2018, and previously managed operations at Southern Cross Club from October 2009 to October 2017, while also serving as President of the Sister Islands Tourism Association during the same period. Neil's career began at EDS Group, where Neil held the position of Operations Manager from 1999 to 2002.
