Rebecca Yap

Rebecca Yap currently serves as a Fellow at Climatebase, starting in September 2023. Prior to this role, Rebecca held fellowships at the Clean Energy Leadership Institute and the Energy Policy Institute at the University of Chicago, where responsibilities included communications support and newsletter development. Rebecca also worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the Harris School of Public Policy, focusing on Cost-Benefit Analysis, and served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Behavioral Insights and Parenting Lab. Previous experience includes positions at APCO Worldwide as an Associate Consultant, managing Southeast Asia client relations and media strategies, along with roles at Ying Communications, WE Communications, Weber Shandwick, and SinoMedia Global. Academic qualifications include a Master of Public Policy from the Harris School of Public Policy and dual Bachelor's degrees in International Relations, Economics, and Politics and International Studies from the University of Melbourne.
