Sara Schuenemann

Sara Schuenemann is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in event management, climate solutions, and community development. Currently serving as a Climatebase Fellow since March 2024, Sara collaborates with climate experts to advance practical solutions. As the Director of Events at Next City since February 2015, Sara leads the creation and execution of large-scale global events, successfully engaging diverse audiences. Prior experience includes roles as a Development Consultant at Stone Sherick Consulting Group, Marketing and Communications Lead at Bracken Leadership, and Project Manager at Gillen Construction, among others. Sara holds a Bachelor of Arts in Ecotourism and Art from Prescott College and is pursuing a Certificate in Women's Entrepreneurship from Cornell University.
