Sam Hancock

Sam Hancock has over 15 years of professional experience. Sam began their career in 2005 as a Summer Vacation Intern at Deloitte & Touche. In 2006, they moved to Capital One as a Manager of Business Analysis, where they managed 3 associates and senior associates, running valuations in the subprime division. In 2010, they joined HD Decisions as the Head of New Ventures, becoming the third employee and the most senior analyst. In 2015, they moved to Google as a Finance Manager for Global Search, Commerce & Apps Partnerships and Head of Northern Europe Sales Finance. In 2017, they joined Waymo as their first business analyst and Head of Strategy & Analytics - Engineering Operations. Sam also served as the temporary Head of Mapping Operations, managing a team of x00 people and negotiating and managing $xxM contracts with outsourced vendors. In 2020, they joined Invenia Labs as the Chief Analytics Officer, and in 2022, they became the Chief Operating Officer of ClimateView, the leading transition platform for cities managing their pathway to a zero-carbon future.

Sam Hancock attended the University of Warwick from 2002 to 2006, where they earned a Mathematics MMath degree in Mathematics.
