Tom Wainwright

Tom Wainwright is an experienced professional in sustainability and corporate decarbonisation, currently serving as the System Lead at the Climateworks Centre since February 2021. In this role, Tom oversees initiatives to aid Australian corporates in achieving net zero emissions, focusing on critical areas such as data, technology, and the circular economy. Prior to this position, Tom worked as Program Impact Manager for Climateworks's Sustainable Corporates and Industry systems, where work involved collaborating with large industries and finance to develop decarbonisation pathways. Tom's previous experience includes roles at Accenture as Change Manager, Oliver Wyman as Knowledge Auditor, and various positions in the hospitality sector. Tom holds a Bachelor of Arts in Law from the University of Cambridge and completed an Executive Programme in Sustainable Finance at the University of Oxford.
