Trang Nguyen

Trang Nguyen serves as the Southeast Asia Lead at Climateworks Centre, focusing on scaling climate ambitions through stakeholder collaboration in areas such as decarbonisation, climate finance, and just energy transitions. Additionally, Trang holds the position of Non Executive Director at Asian Australians for Climate Solutions. Previous roles include Senior Economist at the Department of Jobs, Precincts and Regions, where evidence-based analysis informed policy reform in the mining sector, and Head of Sustainable Development Programmes for the UK in Vietnam, overseeing advocacy campaigns aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Trang's background also includes advisory roles for the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office and project management at VPBank and GIZ.
