Maryam A. has a diverse range of work experience in the field of energy and sustainability. Maryam is currently serving as the Director of Science at Climatiq since August 2021.

Maryam A. began their education at Amirkabir University of Technology - Tehran Polytechnic, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Electrical Engineering from 2007 to 2011. Maryam then attended the University at Buffalo from 2012 to 2013, where they earned a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Electrical Engineering. Following this, they enrolled at the University of Michigan, where they completed a Graduate Certificate in Industrial Ecology in the year 2015. Maryam A. continued their education at the University of Michigan and achieved a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Natural Resources Management and Policy in the period from 2013 to 2017.
