Thomas Zens has a diverse work experience. Thomas started their career at Böttcher Systems in 2008, where they had an apprenticeship and later worked in accounting. In 2011, they joined DWS Pohl GmbH, first as an Inside Sales representative and then as part of their Export Sales team. Since 2015, Thomas has been working at CLIMAX Portable Machining & Welding Systems, starting as an Inside Sales representative and gradually advancing to roles with more responsibility. Currently, they serve as the Head of Indirect Sales & Marketing for Europe.

Thomas Zens earned a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Sales Management from FOM University of Applied Sciences for Economics and Management. Thomas completed this program from 2018 to 2021. Prior to their master's degree, Thomas Zens obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Business Administration / International Management from the University of Wales. Thomas studied at the University of Wales from 2010 to 2013.
