David Lamelas

David Lamelas has a wealth of experience in the hospitality and tourism industry. David began their career in 2009 as an Internal Auditor and Enterprise Risk Analyst at Banco Santander Totta Bank. In 2013, they began interning at VILA GALÉ HOTÉIS and Real Hotels Group, gaining experience in coordinating meetings and events, in the kitchen and at the front desk. David also became an Entrepreneur and Tourism and Lodging Responsible at Biovilla - Cooperativa para o Desenvolvimento Sustentável. Later that year, they joined ECOFIGE, SA as a Partner, Senior Consultant and Project Manager. In 2014, they began working at Amorim Turismo as a Revenue Manager and Business Analyst, developing the Revenue Management's design and system. From 2016 to 2021, they worked at Pestana Hotel Group, Details Hotels & Resorts, and Lux Hotels in various roles, including Financial Director, Revenue Manager, and E-commerce. David currently works as a Product Manager and Revenue Manager at Climber RMS.

David Lamelas has an extensive educational history. David began their studies in 2002 when they attended Lycée Français Charles Lepierre and studied Economics and Social Area. In 2007, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Nova School of Business and Economics. David then went on to obtain a Master's degree in Management - Organizational Studies from the same institution in 2009. In 2012, they completed a course in Hotel Direction from ADHP - INESP. In 2014, they obtained a Certification in Hotel Revenue Management from Cornell University. In 2018, they completed an E-learning course in Computer Science - Introduction to Python and Data Science from Udacity. David then went on to complete an Online Course in Database and SQL from Udemy Alumni in 2021. Additionally, they completed an Online Course in Power BI with DAX, Business Intelligence from Udemy Alumni in 2020.
