Jessica Campbell

Director, Assest Innovations at ClimeCo

Jessica is based in the Calgary, Canada office and has 10+ years of carbon market experience. She works closely with the Project Development team to source, evaluate, and deliver new environmental project initiatives. Jessica leads ClimeCo’s program development work around energy innovations, new market instruments and GHG programs, carbon capture and storage (CCS), and low-carbon fuels, including ‘blue’ and ‘green’ hydrogen and ammonia. Jessica is passionate about utilizing environmental markets and finding pathways for value creation to help clients decarbonize operations, including those in ‘hard-to-abate’ sectors.

Before ClimeCo, Jessica managed client and business development for a large North American offset project developer. She provided carbon compliance strategy, technology assessments, and other market advisory services. Her experience also includes developing anaerobic digestion, wind, energy efficiency, composting, biomass, and electrification offsets within the Alberta and British Columbia compliance markets and Canadian voluntary markets. Additionally, she has significant experience with policy developers and has gained valuable expertise in provincial (AB) climate change policy and the TIER Program.

Jessica holds a Master of Science in Sustainable Energy Development (SEDV) from the University of Calgary.
