Dimitrios Anagnostos

Dimitrios Anagnostos is a Senior Data Scientist at Climeworks since November 2022, focusing on operating models and optimizations for innovative Direct Air Capture (DAC) plants, as well as end-to-end analytics for various teams. Previously, Dimitrios held the position of Data Scientist at WinJi AG from December 2019 to October 2022, where responsibilities included the development of advanced models for wind and solar assets, deployment of analysis on a SaaS product, and product ownership. Prior to that, experience as a Visiting PhD Student at imec involved creating state-of-the-art models for photovoltaic (PV) production forecasting. Dimitrios also contributed as a Freelance Researcher with ICCS - ΕΠΙΣΕΥ, engaging in various research projects and topics including machine learning in PV systems from January 2013 to December 2019. Early career experience includes an internship at EPFL focused on IR-Drop estimation in integrated circuits. Educational qualifications comprise a Master of Science in Electrical & Computer Engineering from National Technical University of Athens and ongoing doctoral studies in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at KU Leuven.
