Paige Lloyd

Paige grew up in Ohio where she also completed her graduate (Miami University) and undergraduate degrees (Wittenberg University). Paige is currently an assistant professor in the Psychology Department at the University of Denver. As tenure track faculty, Paige maintains an active research lab – The Social Detection Lab – which aims to examine how biases (e.g., stereotypes, prejudice) and interpersonal sensitivity deficits (i.e., inability to accurately read cues from others’) contribute to social inequality and discriminatory outcomes. Current work in the lab is particularly focused on disparities in health care across gender, race, and socioeconomic status. In addition, Paige teaches at the graduate and undergraduate levels with expertise in Introductory Psychology, Research Methods, and Advanced Statistics and Research Design.
