ClinChoice, is searching for an experienced Regulatory Associate Manager to work with one of our Consumer Health partners, with a focus on Cosmetics and Skin Care. The Associate Manager will ensure products meet regulatory requirements, particularly within the EU, and responsible for claim review and risk-based assessments of formulations. Previous experience with feminine hygiene products would be beneficial.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all cosmetic products comply with EU regulations, including the Cosmetic Product Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009.
  • Evaluate product claims to ensure they are substantiated and compliant with regulatory guidelines.
  • Conduct risk-based assessments of formulations to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Prepare and maintain regulatory documentation, including Product Information Files (PIFs) and Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
  • Work closely with Research & Development, marketing, and quality assurance teams to provide regulatory guidance throughout the product development process.
  • Monitor changes in cosmetic regulations and standards and update internal teams accordingly.
  • Provide training and support to internal teams on regulatory requirements and best practices.

Education, Experience and Skills:

  • University Degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in regulatory affairs within the cosmetics industry.
  • In-depth understanding of EU cosmetic regulations and guidelines.
  • Experience with claim review and risk-based assessments of formulations is essential.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Experience in feminine hygiene products is highly advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook).
