Amber Lemons Pharmd, Bcpp

Amber Lemons, PharmD, BCPP, has a solid background in the field of pharmacy. Amber currently serves as the Director of Educational Strategy for Neuroscience at Clinical Care Options, a position they have held since 2022. Prior to this, Amber worked at Denver Health from 2019 to 2022 as a Clinical Pharmacist specializing in Behavioral Health. In this role, they focused on adult psychiatry, adolescent psychiatry, and eating disorders, while also contributing to policy development. Additionally, they served as the Student Coordinator for inpatient learners in the Pharmacy Department. Before joining Denver Health, Amber completed a Post Graduate Year-2 Psychiatric Pharmacy Residency at Pharmacy Systems, Inc., in 2019. Amber also gained experience at Denver Health from 2017 to 2018 as a Post Graduate Year 1 (PGY1) Pharmacy Practice Resident and from 2015 to 2017 as an Intern Pharmacist.

Amber Lemons, PharmD, BCPP, obtained their Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from the University of Colorado Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences in 2017. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Neuroscience from 2008 to 2012.

In addition to their educational background, Amber has obtained various certifications throughout their career. Amber became a Board Certified Psychiatric Pharmacist (BCPP) through the Board of Pharmacy Specialties in June 2020. Amber also obtained their pharmacist license from the Colorado State Board of Pharmacy in August 2017.

Amber has acquired further certifications to enhance their professional abilities. Amber earned a Medication Therapy Management (MTM) certification from the American Pharmacists Association in May 2016. Amber also obtained a Mental Health First Aid certification from the National Council for Mental Wellbeing in April 2015, and an Immunization Certification from the American Pharmacists Association in May 2014.
