Chee Lee

Chee Lee is a data scientist with experience in healthcare and biosciences. They worked as a Data Scientist - Specialist at Clinician Nexus from 2023, a Senior Data Scientist at Cogitativo from 2020-2023, and a Senior Data Scientist and Data Scientist at L.A. Care Health Plan from 2018-2020. Their work involved developing data science products, creating a feature store to standardize feature definitions, leading and mentoring data scientists and analysts, and operationalizing end-to-end data mining and analytical pipelines. Prior to this, Chee worked at Proove Biosciences, Inc. as a Data Scientist and at the University of Michigan as a Graduate Research Assistant and Graduate Student Instructor. Chee also had a role as a Research Specialist at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Chee Lee earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology and Statistics from St. Olaf College between 2005 and 2009. From 2010 to 2016, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy in Bioinformatics from the University of Michigan.
