Jim Knapp

Jim Knapp has extensive work experience in the business development field. Jim currently holds the position of Business Development Director at Clinigen Clinical Supplies Management since April 2020. Prior to this, Jim served as the Director of Global BD at Clinigen Group from January 2017. In this role, they assisted sponsor pharma companies and healthcare professionals in providing access to treatment for patients with critical unmet medical needs through the IDIS Managed Access team.

Before joining Clinigen Group, Jim worked as an Account Director at Catalent Pharma Solutions from July 2012 to January 2017. Their responsibilities included managing key accounts and developing effective business strategies. Prior to Catalent, they were a Business Development Executive at Penn Pharmaceutical Services Ltd. from October 2008 to June 2012.

Jim's career began in 2001 as a Business Development Manager at Almac Clinical Services, where they worked until 2008. Jim started their professional journey at Verizon in 1989, holding various positions in Bell Atlantic Directory Graphics until January 2001.

Jim Knapp has an MBA in Marketing from Saint Joseph's University and a BS in Marketing from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
