David Farrer

David Farrer has a diverse work experience in the medical field. David currently works as a Product Specialist - ICE at CliniSys since September 2021. Prior to that, they worked at NHS Orkney from 2014 to 2021, where they held the positions of Senior Biomedical Scientist and Laboratory IT Lead, and Specialist Biomedical Scientist. Before that, they worked at NHS Blood and Transplant as a Specialist Biomedical Scientist from 2012 to 2014. David also worked as a Postgraduate Research Student at Liverpool John Moores University from 2010 to 2012. Earlier in their career, David worked at Southport and Ormskirk Hospital NHS Trust as a Biomedical Scientist from 2008 to 2010, and at University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust from 2002 to 2008, where they held various positions including Trainee Biomedical Scientist, Medical Laboratory Assistant, and Clerical Assistant and Bank Phlebotomist.

David Farrer completed their Master of Philosophy - MPhil in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Liverpool John Moores University from 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Biomedical Science at the University of Central Lancashire, graduating in 2008. Additionally, David has obtained certification as a Biomedical Scientist from The Health and Care Professions Council.
