Laura Isabel Velasquez Castrillón

Laura Isabel Velasquez Castrillón has a diverse work experience in various domains. Laura Isabel started their career at the ICA - Instituto Colombiano Agropecuario, where they worked as a Microbiology and Clinical Analysis Analyst from October 2004 to May 2005. Laura Isabel then joined the University of Antioquia, where they worked as an Immunology Transplant Analyst from June 2005 to May 2011. Following this, Laura worked as a Research Fellow in Immunology at the Miguel Hernández University of Elche from January 2013 to September 2017.

In 2018, Laura joined everis as a Health Consultancy professional, and they worked in this role until June 2019. Laura Isabel then joined Dedalus España y LATAM as a Senior Healthcare Consultant from June 2019 to September 2021. During this time, they gained expertise in the healthcare industry. Laura continued their career as a Clinical Consultant at Informática Médico Farmaceutica - IMF from September 2021 to January 2023.

Currently, Laura is employed at Clinisys as a Project Engineer, where they utilize their skills and experience to contribute to the successful implementation of projects. Throughout their career, Laura has shown versatility and adaptability in different roles within the healthcare and research sectors.

Laura Isabel Velasquez Castrillón completed their education as follows:

From 2000 to 2004, they attended the Institución Universitaria Colegio Mayor de Antioquia and obtained a degree in Bacteriology and Clinical Laboratory.

In 2011 and 2012, Laura Isabel Velasquez Castrillón pursued two master's degrees at the Universitat d'Alacant. Laura Isabel completed a Master's in Biotechnology for Health and Sustainability, specializing in biomedical sciences, and also a Master's in Biopathology and Clinical Biotechnology, focusing on biotechnology and medicine.

From 2013 to 2017, they attended the Universidad Miguel Hernández de Elche and completed their Doctorate in Clinical Medicine, specializing in Immunology.

In 2018 and 2019, Laura Isabel Velasquez Castrillón underwent further training in Project Management for Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) at DEDALUS GLOBAL SERVICES S.A. 2020.
