Patrick van Den Brink

Patrick van den Brink has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades in the healthcare and software industry. Their most recent role was as a Project Delivery Manager at Clinisys, where they managed projects related to the implementation of Clinisys products at Dutch and international customers. Patrick was responsible for planning, budgeting, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Prior to that, they worked as a Project Manager and Software Consultant at Clinisys, focusing on the implementation of their products at Dutch customers.

Before joining Clinisys, Patrick had a long tenure at Leiden University Medical Center. Patrick served as a Teamlead Application Management, where they managed a team and acted occasionally as a project leader. Patrick was responsible for the functional management of decentralized functional managers and participated in resourcing projects. Patrick also worked as a Project Manager and Application Manager, where they oversaw the implementation of the laboratory information management system GLIMS across various internal laboratories. Patrick was responsible for training end users, coordinating with laboratory administrators, and managing system modifications and upgrades. Additionally, they acted as the contact person for external stakeholders. Prior to these roles, Patrick was a Teamlead ICT and Microbiology Laboratory Technician at the same institution.

Patrick's career began as a Microbiology Laboratory Technician at Rijnland Zorggroep, where they were involved in implementing a laboratory information management system. Overall, Patrick has gained extensive experience in project management, software implementation, team leadership, and customer relationship management in the healthcare and software industry.

Patrick van den Brink attended Utrecht Business School (UBS) from 2022 to 2023, where they studied Servant Leadership. Prior to that, they completed a Registered Business Administration degree in Health Care Management from IBO in 2011-2012. Their educational journey began with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Medical Microbiology from Hogeschool Leiden, which they obtained between 1994 and 1997.
