Ralf Dorscheid

Ralf Dorscheid has over 30 years of professional experience in engineering and project management. Starting in 1990, they worked as a Project Engineer for TiM GmbH. In 1992, they moved to Philips Research Laboratories as a Project Manager and Design Engineer. From 2010 to 2011, they held the position of Project Manager at Miltenyi Biotec and Manager Mechanical Development & Project Manager at IRMATO Industrial Solutions Aachen GmbH. Ralf then moved to Philips Digital Photon Counting as a Project Manager and Development Engineer, followed by a role as Project Engineer at Varian Medical Systems Particle Therapy GmbH from 2015 to 2017. In 2017, they became a Director International Technical Project Leader at Grünenthal GmbH, followed by Director Industrialization & Engineering and Director International Technical Project Leader (ITPL) at Adhesys Medical GmbH a wholly-owned subsidiary of Grünenthal GmbH from 2019 to 2021. Most recently, they have been working as Head of Production & Supply Chain Management / Development Manager Hardware at Clinomic since 2021.

Ralf Dorscheid began their educational journey in 1981 when they trained as a mechanic at RWTH Aachen and earned a mechanical skilled worker degree. Ralf then went on to Technical High School from 1984 to 1985 and achieved an A-Level. After that, they served in Military Service from 1984 to 1986. Finally, they attended Technical University Aachen / Fachhochschule Aachen from 1986 to 1990 and earned a Dipl.-Ing. in Mechanical Engineering.
