Richard Philippi

Richard Philippi has an extensive career in public works and emergency management, serving as Deputy Emergency Management Coordinator and Public Works Foreman for the Charter Township of Clinton since April 2000. Prior to this, Richard was a Foreman and Deputy Emergency Management Coordinator at Clinton Township DPW from February 2001 until retirement in December 2021. Earlier roles included Assistant Foreman and Maintenance Worker at Charter Township of Clinton from 1993 to 2000. Richard's career began in the United States Navy as a Sonar Technician E-5, where notable service included four years aboard the USS Towers DDG-9, culminating in an honorable discharge in 1989. Richard is a graduate of East Detroit High School and pursued Civil Technology studies at Macomb Community College between 1998 and 2002. Currently, Richard is retired but open to the right employment opportunity.
