Theo Erasmus

Theo Erasmus has extensive work experience in the clinical research industry. Theo began their career as the Chief Statistician at Farmovs in 1993. Theo then transitioned to ClinData International in 1997, where they served as a Director for one year. In 1999, they joined Quintiles and held various roles, including Director, Senior Director, General Manager, and Vice President. At Quintiles, they were responsible for managing large data management units, providing strategic technical advice, and overseeing financial and operational goals. In 2012, they became the CEO of Clinvet and later assumed the role of Group Executive. In 2016, they became a Director at Clinglobal, Clintest, and Clinomics. Recently, in 2020, they joined Synteract as the Vice President of Biometrics FSP. Throughout their career, Theo Erasmus has demonstrated strong leadership skills and a commitment to achieving organizational objectives.

Theo Erasmus obtained a M.Med.Sc degree in Pharmacology from the University of the Free State from 2002 to 2004. Prior to that, they earned a B.Sc (Honnors) degree in Mathematical Statistics from the same university from 2001 to 2002. Their undergraduate education was in Mathematical Statistics and Computer Science, with a B.Sc degree earned from the University of the Free State from 1989 to 2001. Theo also holds a certification in Communicating Across Cultures from LinkedIn, obtained in 2017.
