Erik Mosney

Erik Mosney, CFA has a varied work experience in the field of finance and investment. Erik is currently the Founder and Mentor at Caffinate.io, a role they started in September 2022. Prior to this, Erik worked as the Corporate Development Manager at Clio - Cloud-Based Legal Technology from September 2021 onwards.

From July 2020 to September 2021, they were an Investment Banking Associate at CIBC Capital Markets. Before that, Erik worked as an Investment Banking Associate at SurePath Capital Partners from July 2018 to July 2020.

Erik also gained experience at RSM Canada, where they held the positions of Associate | Capital Markets and M&A Advisory from May to July 2018, and Analyst | Capital Markets and M&A Advisory from May 2017 to May 2018.

Additionally, Erik has experience working at Telfer School of Management as a Teaching Assistant for Equity Valuation from January to May 2017, and as a Portfolio Manager Leader | Healthcare Portfolio Manager from April 2015 to March 2017.

Erik began their career at Minto Group Inc., first as a Financial Analyst in the Office of the CEO from April 2015 to May 2016, and then as an Analyst at Minto Capital from May to September 2016.

Erik Mosney, CFA, holds an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance from the University of Ottawa. Erik attended the university from 2013 to 2017. In addition to their degree, Erik Mosney has obtained several certifications. Erik completed the Investment Banking Training Program at The Marquee Group in August 2020. Erik also earned the prestigious Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, awarded by the CFA Institute, in June 2020. Furthermore, Erik Mosney completed the Bloomberg Essentials certification in August 2014, offered by Bloomberg LP.
