Jeremy Fernandes

Jeremy Fernandes has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as the Community Partnerships Manager at Clio - Cloud-Based Legal Technology since April 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Community Partnerships Coordinator at the same company from August 2021 to April 2022. In this role, they were responsible for coordinating and directing the day-to-day operations of Clio's Academic Access Program (CAAP) and overseeing the development of the Incubator Program. Jeremy also built relationships with academic organizations and internal/external stakeholders.

Before Clio, Jeremy held the position of Intermediate Customer Onboarding Specialist from September 2020 to August 2021, and Customer Onboarding Specialist from April 2019 to September 2020 at the same company.

Jeremy also has a background in the Canadian Armed Forces, where they served as a COATS Officer from April 2015 to December 2022. Jeremy has experience as an Aviation Instructor at Montair Aviation Inc. from August 2018 to April 2019, and as a Career Coach at the University of the Fraser Valley from October 2017 to May 2018.

Lastly, Jeremy worked as an Administrative Assistant at HealthCare Benefit Trust (HBT) from October 2011 to August 2013.

Jeremy Fernandes completed a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Organizational Behaviour Studies at the University of the Fraser Valley from 2013 to 2018. In addition, they obtained various certifications, including Indigenous Canada from the University of Alberta in September 2022. Jeremy also completed the Unit Public Affairs Representative certification from the Canadian Armed Forces in June 2018, Standard First Aid with CPR Level C + AED from St John Ambulance in March 2018, and the Auxiliary/Reserve Constable Tier 1 Training Program from the Justice Institute of British Columbia in February 2017. Jeremy also obtained the Unit Cadet Conflict Management Advisor certification from the Canadian Forces - Cadet Instructors Cadre (CIC) in January 2017, Flight Instructor Rating - Glider from Transport Canada in July 2015, and Private Pilot Licence and Glider Pilot Licence from Transport Canada in August 2013 and August 2012, respectively.
