The Role:

We are looking for a Sr. Frontend Developer to be part of this amazing and fast – growing fintech and who will be managing end-to-end web experiences and s/he will be a key person to transform Marketing and consumer feedback into web experiences. This candidate has to have experience working with frameworks such as Express, Angular and React. S/he should thrive in a culture of decisions based on analytics, be able to step-back and communicate both the strategic and immediate implications on priorities. This candidate must have strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish, great communication skills and be willing to continue learning and loving technology. Willingness to put in the work and be part of an elite hard-working team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop the front-end of a high traffic, external facing website (mobile and desktop), containing online marketing material which includes social media, landing pages, retail partners links and affiliates displays, etc.

• Create and design a strong front-end to maximize customer acquisition through customer activation and retention.

• Build customer-facing UI to both attract new customers and simplify existing users experience.

• Understand the target audience and can create solutions to foster ease of use, i.e. customers who are not digital natives.

• Experience developing micro frontend, redux, and security will be a plus.

• Contribute to team and organizational improvements in process and infrastructure.

• Support in the discovery journey to maximize efficiency across consumer touch points with constant and fast interactions, collaborate with A/B testing, enabling the web experience to support multiple tests.

• Define interaction models, user task flows, and UI specifications.

• Communicate scenarios, end-to- end experiences, interaction models, and screen designs to stakeholders.

• Work with marketing, visual designers and graphic designers to incorporate the visual identity of Clip into features and better web driven outcomes (from traffic to conversion)

Technical knowledge

• 4 years of experience with JavaScript.

• Experience with front-end libraries such as React, Vue etc. (React preferred).

• Experience with Cloud Infrastructure (AWS)

• Solid understanding of RESTful service architecture and APIs.

• Proficient with GitHub.

• Proficient in Linux/Unix and comfortable with Mac.

• Unit testing experience is a plus.
