Principal Project Engineer – Customer Success at Clir Renewables

Benjamin Duguet has a long and varied work experience, beginning in 2005 with a ten day mission in Kenya for the EDEN Association as an Engineer Assistant Biogas. In 2006, they became a Junior Consultant Wind Energy at Ecofys, where they stayed until 2007. During this time, they conducted offshore wind resource assessments, was a key accountant for the French offshore wind market, and analyzed the quality of performance of a Wind Power Prediction System. In 2007, they moved to Ecofys again, this time as a Junior Consultant Energy in the Built Environment, where they simulated energy performance of eco-active houses for their implantation in France. In 2011, they joined Mott MacDonald as a Renewable Energy Engineer - Offshore Wind Specialist, where they were a Lender's Engineer for an offshore wind farm in the UK and an Owner Engineer for an offshore wind farm in Norway. In 2012, they became an Offshore Wind Consultant & Business Developer France at OutSmart BV, where they were responsible for business development and client acquisition, and was an Owner Engineer for an O&M strategy. In 2014, they joined Wood as a Senior Wind Energy Engineer, where they were a Project Manager for an acquisition TDD and LTA, and a Wind Turbine Inspector. In 2020, they became a Principal Consultant at WPO, where they were responsible for O&M contracts renewal and repowering analysis. Finally, in 2021, they joined Clir Renewables as a Principal Project Engineer - Customer Success, where they are responsible for key account management, delivering technical support, and expanding the business in France and beyond.

Benjamin Duguet obtained an Engineer (Master of Science) degree in Renewable Energy from IMT Mines Albi between 2003 and 2007.
