Flora Liao

Flora Liao has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Flora started their career in 2014 as a Private Tutor at Apollo Education Group. In 2015, they worked as a Business Intern at Game Theory Academy. In 2017, they had internships in Pediatric Neurosurgery, Pharmacy, and Ophthalmology at Kaiser Permanente.

In 2018, Flora joined ELSA PAO OD INC as an Optometric Assistant and also worked as a Dispatch Analyst at UC Berkeley Educational Technology Services. Flora continued their journey at UC Berkeley in 2019 as a Human Resources Assistant.

Flora then obtained a position as a Lead Clinical Trial Coordinator at Alcon in 2019. In 2020, they became a Zoom Consultant at UC Berkeley Educational Technology Services and later transitioned to the role of Program Manager.

In 2021, Flora worked at Amplitude as a Recruiting Coordinator and also had internships at the Association of Asian Pacific Community Health Organizations (AAPCHO) as a Digital Communications and Training and Technical Assistance Intern. Flora currently holds the position of Lead Recruiting Coordinator & People Operations at Clockwise.

Throughout their career, Flora has gained valuable experience in recruitment, operations, healthcare, education, and communications.

Flora Liao completed their Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Media Studies from the University of California, Berkeley, from 2017 to 2021. Before that, they attended Oakland Technical High School from 2013 to 2017, with a focus on Biotechnology. In terms of additional certifications, Flora obtained several in 2021, including "Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging," "Fighting Gender Bias at Work," "Interviewing a Job Candidate for Recruiters," "Recruiting Foundations," and "Strategic Human Resources" from LinkedIn. Flora also acquired an "Unconscious Bias" certification from LinkedIn in the same year. Furthermore, in 2022, Flora obtained a "Textio Inclusive Recruiting Certification" from Textio.
