Derek Stache has over four years of professional experience in the fields of behavioral health, education, and project management. Finally, in 2015, they worked as a Behavioral Health Intern for Cherry Health, where they conducted 45 emotion and behavior prescreen assessments with elementary students, facilitated a six-week support group for boys, and utilized electronic medical records, Spanish language abilities, and motivational interviewing while working as a member of an interdisciplinary team.

Derek Stache obtained their Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Michigan in 2018. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Social Work and Spanish from Calvin University in 2016.
