Ian Donovan

Ian Donovan has a diverse range of work experience in the software engineering field. Ian started their career as a Teaching Assistant at Tufts University, where they guided students through an introductory computer science course. After that, they worked as a Systems Intern at Lutron Electronics, where they designed and tested electrical circuits for a light control system.

Ian then joined Pubget as a Software Engineer, where they developed web technologies using Ruby On Rails. Ian later joined Smashing Boxes as a Software Engineer, where they created a variety of web applications and also branched off into iOS development.

Currently, Ian is working at Clora as a Senior Developer, after starting in the role of a Full Stack Engineer. Ian has been with Clora since 2017 and continues to contribute as a key member of the development team.

Ian Donovan completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Engineering from Tufts University, where they attended from 2008 to 2012. Ian obtained several additional certifications from various institutions, including CoffeeScript and CSS Cross-Country from Code School in June and May 2015 respectively. Ian also obtained the Dev Ops Professional certification from Dev Ops League in April 2015. In addition, they completed the courses staying-sharp-with-angular-js and Try Objective-C from Code School, although the specific months and years are not provided for these certifications.
