Krishna Kumar

Krishna Kumar has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Starting in 1996, they worked as a Consultant at HCL Technologies until 2000. Krishna then joined M&G Investments in 2001 as an Application Developer and progressed to become the Head of Integration Support in 2010. In this role, they improved the support process for key middleware technology and transformed the test environment management capability. From 2015 to 2017, Krishna served as the Head of Application Support at M&G Investments, leading a team of professionals and supporting the strategic re-design of systems and platforms. From 2018 to 2021, they held the position of Cloud Engineering and Support at M&G plc, where they built and managed the cloud services function and implemented the "cloud first" strategy. Currently, Krishna is working as the Chief Technology Officer at Close Brothers Asset Management, a role they assumed in 2022.

Krishna Kumar obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from Madurai Kamaraj University in the years 1989 to 1993. Later, from 2005 to 2007, they pursued and completed their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in General Management at the University of Hull. Additionally, Krishna Kumar obtained several certifications including Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate in July 2020, Azure Administrator Associate in 2019, and Azure Solutions Architect Expert in 2019. Krishna is also pursuing the FT Non-Executive Director Diploma from the FT Board Director Programme, which they are expected to complete in 2023.
