Aubrey Mvula has a diverse work experience spanning over 18 years. Aubrey started their career in 2005 as an Audit Assistant at Deloitte, where they worked until 2008. Aubrey then joined KPMG East Africa as an Audit Senior from 2008 to 2010. Aubrey continued their journey at KPMG UK as an Assistant Audit Manager from 2011 to 2012. Aubrey then transitioned to Nationwide Building Society as a Senior Risk Consultant from 2013 to 2015, before taking on the role of Operational Risk Manager at the same company until 2019. From 2019 to 2022, Aubrey worked at Shawbrook Bank, initially as an Operational Risk Manager and later as the Head of Operational Risk. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Governance & Reporting, Op Risk at Close Brothers, starting in 2023.
Aubrey Mvula's education history begins in 2005 when they pursued an ACCA Qualification in Accounting and Finance, which was completed in 2007. In the same year, they also began their Bachelor's in Applied Accounting at Oxford Brookes University, which they completed in 2008.
In 2017, Aubrey attended the Institute of Risk Management and obtained a Certificate in Risk Management. They furthered their education in 2022 at CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing, where they pursued a Foundation degree in Marketing.
