Gary Kibby

Gary Kibby has a strong background in credit and risk management. Gary is currently working as the Chief Credit Officer at Close Brothers. Prior to this, they served as the Risk Director at Close Brothers Invoice Finance from 2019 to 2023. From 2017 to 2019, they held the position of Head of Central Credit Risk at Close Brothers. Before joining Close Brothers, they worked at Barclays Corporate and Investment Banking as a Regional Risk Director from 2011 to 2016, where they managed a team and oversaw various aspects of credit analysis, fraud risk management, and portfolio monitoring. Gary also had a role as a Corporate Credit Risk Director at Barclays Corporate Banking from 2008 to 2011.

Gary Kibby completed their secondary education at Riddlesdown High School from 1983 to 1988. During this period, they obtained their General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE) in an unspecified field of study. Following their high school education, Gary pursued further education in banking and earned an Associate of Chartered Institute of Bankers (ACIB) degree from 1988 to 1993.
