Kayne Stroup has over 15 years of experience in finance, accounting, and operations. Kayne began their career in 2005 as the Controller at TransPecos Foods, where they led Accounting and Finance for a 200-person high-growth company. In 2007, they moved to Atlas Copco as Controller, where they reduced month-end close time by 30% and led several impactful changes for the organization. In 2010, they became Controller at Ashland Inc., where they streamlined annual budgeting and financial planning and tightened up the A/P process. In 2012, they became CFO and Co-Founder of Next Life Electronics, where they grew the workforce from 4 founders to 75 staff and earned R2 and multiple ISO certifications. Kayne also became CFO at Image Microsystems, where they prepared the company for IPO and acquisition by a private equity firm. In 2017, they became VP of Finance at uStudio, where they established financial rigor, adjusted product pricing, and negotiated higher-dollar contracts. In 2022, they joined DataPrime as Board Advisor and Chief Financial Officer. Currently, they are the Head of Finance at Close.

Kayne Stroup attended Texas A&M University from 1998 to 2002, where they earned a B.S in Computer Science. Kayne then attended Texas State University from 2002 to 2004, where they earned an MBA in Business Administration.
