Xianglong Hu has a diverse work experience that spans several years. Xianglong began their career as a Research Assistant at the Atomic and Optical Physics Lab in Fudan University in 2015. Xianglong then worked as a Research Assistant at the Laboratory of Computer Vision and Machine Learning in Fudan University in 2017, where they developed a hierarchical Bayesian neural network and implemented computational models using Pytorch. In 2018, Xianglong Hu joined the Experiment Center for Physics at Fudan University as a Research Assistant, where they designed and implemented an apparatus for acoustic wave generation and conducted experiments on Android smartphones. In 2019, they completed a Software Engineer Internship at Onai, where they worked on projects related to blockchain, accumulator, and Rust. Xianglong Hu then joined Amazon Web Services (AWS) in 2020 as a Software Engineer, where they were involved in designing and implementing a distributed stateless event processing microservice. Xianglong also built and tested a new customer-facing API. In 2022, Hu joined DoorDash as a Software Engineer, where they designed and implemented an in-memory cache for merchant metadata, reduced AWS Redis and AWS ECR costs, and made the relevant data retrieval path more maintainable. Currently, Xianglong Hu is a Software Engineer at CloseFactor, where they continue to contribute their skills and expertise.

Xianglong Hu attended Fudan University from 2013 to 2017, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Physics. In 2016, they participated in an exchange program at the University of California, Berkeley, focusing on studying Physics. Continuing their educational journey, they enrolled at New York University from 2017 to 2020, earning a Master of Science degree in Computer Science.
