CHRO at Closure Systems International

Gene Troggio is the Chief Human Resource Officer at Closure Systems International (CSI). Gene has been with the company for 12 years and 7 months, and has held various positions during their tenure, including Global Vice President HR & EHS. In their current role, they is responsible for directing and managing the Human Resource and EHS functional resources for one of the largest manufacturers of beverage caps and closures in the world. Gene is a member of the executive team and reports directly to the CEO.

Prior to joining CSI, Troggio was the Global VP EHS at Reynolds Packaging Group, where they were responsible for developing and directing the global EHS strategy, programs, and initiatives for all Packaging and Consumer locations. Gene also served as the Global Director of EHS at Alcoa, where they were responsible for developing and directing the global EHS strategy, programs, and initiatives for all Packaging and Consumer locations.

Gene Troggio attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania for Safety Engineering and Management from 1975-1979. Gene was also a member of the football team and a student athlete. In 1980, they became a Certified Safety and Health Professional from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals.
