Curtis Wong

Curtis Wong has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Curtis is the Founder & CEO of Cloud Apartments since March 2021. Prior to that, they worked in modular construction at Starcity from June 2019 to March 2021. Curtis also served as an HBS Summer Fellow at the City of San José in June to August 2018. Curtis gained experience as a Launch Mechanical Engineer at SpaceX from March 2015 to May 2017. Before that, Curtis worked as a Structural Engineer at Holmes Structures from April 2014 to March 2015, and at Saiful Bouquet Structural Engineers Inc. from March 2013 to March 2014. Curtis also served as the Solar Decathlon Structural Lead at Stanford University from February 2012 to March 2013. Curtis began their career as the Concrete Canoe Captain at ASCE UC Irvine from September 2009 to April 2011.

Curtis Wong's education history includes a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Harvard Business School, which they completed between 2017 and 2019. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Structural Engineering from Stanford University in the years 2011 to 2013. Curtis'sbachelor's degree, a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Civil Engineering, was obtained from UC Irvine between 2007 and 2011.

Additionally, Curtis Wong has acquired several certifications. In October 2019, they became Procore Certified as a Project Manager with a focus on Financial Management, a qualification granted by Procore Technologies. In October 2010, they obtained FE/EIT certification from NCEES (National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying). Furthermore, in December 2014, they achieved a Professional Engineer (PE) certification from the California Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors, and Geologists.
