Heather Cooper

Heather Cooper has extensive professional experience in the legal industry. Heather began their career in 1998 as an Attorney at Butzel Long. In 2002, they moved to Suchowski Law Firm, where they served as Managing Partner. In 2014, they joined Cloud Coach, where they held the roles of Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer, and General Counsel. In their role as General Counsel, they negotiated client contracts, drafted and maintained internal and external company agreements, and oversaw compliance and risk management activities, as well as advising the Board of Directors on relevant laws, legal rights, and risk.

Heather Cooper attended the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, where they obtained their JD in Law. Prior to that, they attended the University of Cambridge, where they earned their degree in International Relations. Before that, they attended Michigan State University, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Pre-law, Social and International Relations. Heather also attended Pepperdine University, where they studied Strategic Negotiation, Dispute Resolution Systems Design. Additionally, they hold certifications in Certified Collaborative Law from the Collaborative Law Institute and a Juris Doctor from the State Bar of Colorado.
