In 2011, Jim founded Cloud Cover Media, Inc., a web-based, self-serve, subscription music service streaming music to business locations with licenses from publishers, record labels and artists.
Jim navigated the maze of industry and Internet licensing regulations to create an innovative business model to deliver legal music to stores. As a 'conceptual technologist' he leads the software development to meet the demands of single stores or national chains playing in-store music. Cloud Cover software is protected by non provisional, utility patents on file with US Patent Office.
Prior to joining the music industry in 2006, Jim worked for twenty years as a video-based communication specialist for advertising agencies and major corporations. He graduated from Occidental College and Harvard Business School.
