Achim Lang

Achim Lang is a seasoned programmer with extensive experience in the gaming industry, currently serving as a Senior Tools Programmer at Cloud Imperium Games since September 2018. Prior to this role, Achim Lang worked at Crytek from March 2012 to April 2018, holding multiple positions including Development Manager for CRYENGINE, Lead Engine Programmer, Functional Lead, Senior Engine Programmer, Engine Programmer, and Junior Programmer. Achim Lang holds a Master of Science (MSc) with Distinction in Games Software Development from Sheffield Hallam University (2009-2010) and two degrees from Reutlingen University: a Master of Science (MSc) in Medien- und Kommunikationsinformatik (2008-2011) and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Medien- und Kommunikationsinformatik (2005-2008).
