Erik Corry

Erik Corry is a seasoned software engineer currently employed at Cloudflare, focusing on the Workers Runtime since August 2024. Prior to this, Erik contributed at Toitware as Geek #3 from May 2018 to August 2024. Notably, Erik worked at Google between August 2007 and April 2018 on the V8 JavaScript engine, specializing in snapshots, regular expressions, and the garbage collector. Earlier in Erik's career, significant roles included developing virtual machine and compiler technology for the PalCom project at the University of Aarhus, and working on different virtual machines at Esmertec AG and Mjølner. Erik's foundational experience in software development began as a student programmer at Mjølner Informatics, and included roles at SignTronic and InnoData, developing driver software. Erik holds an M.Sc. in Computer Science from Aarhus University and a B.A. in Computer Science from the University of Cambridge.
