Richard George

Richard George is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Director of Internal Communications at Cloudflare since July 2023, leading programs for a company that secures around 20% of all websites. Previously, Richard held significant roles at Salesforce, including Director of Media Relations, Thought Leadership, and Storytelling, and Director of Co-CEO Communications, where impactful narratives were crafted to connect the brand with global audiences. Earlier experience includes leadership in global communications at Quantcast, managing corporate communications at LinkedIn, and background roles in prominent PR agencies. Richard co-founded the UK Tech Journalists and PRs group and holds a degree in Business Administration from Cardiff University.
